Welcome
You have arrived here because you may be looking for some support or a place where you can explore safely your past or current life experiences.
Whatever brings you here, you deserve to be heard. Counselling can be a wonderful opportunity to sit down and have a look « inside », identify unhelpful patterns that are inherited from the past and make positive changes in your life.
« Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate » Carl Gustav Jung
I offer a warm and non-judgemental space where together we can gently look into whatever needs exploration.
About me
I am a qualified counsellor and hold a Level 6 Diploma in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling, obtained at Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BCPC). I am also a registered member of BACP and abide by its Code of Ethics.
I receive regular supervision, which is part of the Ethical Framework and is a fundamental aspect of therapy. I use supervision wholeheartedly, so I may provide a therapeutic relationship that is reflective, ethical and effective.
My way of working is person-centred (Carl Rogers) which means the sessions are very much client-led and focused on the here and now, but I also draw on psychodynamic elements to try and help you make sense of how the past may still be influencing your present life.
I have worked with a wide range of issues and experiences including anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, attachment issues, depression, shame and the effects of abuse and loss.
Prior to this I have trained as an End of Life Doula with Living Well Dying Well (LWDL).
My death doula training integrated to my counselling practice means that I am very comfortable with issues around death and dying.
I believe death is too often a taboo, in our society but also sometimes in the therapy room, and this silence can be unhelpful. Death touches us all, in many different ways, and I expect you may have feelings about this, feelings that you may want to bring into the room. They are all welcome, at any stage you need.
I offer therapy both in English and French.

« Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I’ll meet you there » Rumi
Location and accessibility
I offer counselling in a quiet room in Bradford-on-Avon. The town is easily accessed by train or bus and there is free parking available on-site. The room is unfortunately not accessible to wheelchairs at this stage. I also offer counselling online.
Fees and sessions
I currently charge £50 per session. One session lasts 50 minutes. I may have some concessionary rates available for students and people on low income, so please do ask !
I offer a 20 minutes phonecall free of charge, so you can get an idea of who I am and how I work. We can also see if we could be a good fit for each other. I may ask you what are your reasons to come to therapy and if there are any goals that you want to achieve, though you may not have any, which is absolutely fine.
If you’re happy to go on, we may decide together to set up a number of sessions in advance or be more open ended.
